Winter Wonderland Virtual Art Workshop – Acrylic Painting

Join us for a cozy and creative journey as we bring the serene beauty of winter into your home! In this virtual art workshop, you'll learn how to paint a breathtaking winter landscape using acrylic paints. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this step-by-step session is designed to guide you through creating your very own winter masterpiece.

We will be painting a variation of the photo above.

Workshop Details:

• Date & Time: Saturday, December 7th at 9am pst
  
• Platform: Private Link will be emailed. Students will not be on camera. You will have access to the full replay should you miss the live stream. Please do not share private link.
  
• Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

What You’ll Learn:

• Techniques for blending cool winter tones and creating depth in your landscape.
• How to layer acrylic paints for a beautiful snowy effect.
• Tips on adding texture and detail to bring the scene to life, from frosted trees to glistening ice.

Materials Needed:

• Acrylic paints - I use DecoArt Americana Craft Paint (but any will do)

  • Turquoise Blue
  • Baby Blue
  • Purple Cow
  • Bahama Blue
  • Holly Green
  • Pistachio Mint
  • Pink
• 8"x10" watercolor paper
  
• Brushes
  
  • You can use any brand but make sure you have a small liner, and a size 2,6, 10 round brushes, and a size 12 filibert or flat brush. 
• Palette or paper plate for paint
  
• Water cup 
  
• Paper towel or rags
