A little note from Sey Studios

Hello from Sey

Hello beautiful,

All of this started out as a dream to share art with others. It's been me, Sey, the face of it all for a long time. I've grown from doing weekend shows and cons to owning my own gallery to teaching workshops... to now blooming into a lively & creative art studio! But now there is something bigger happening...

We're expanding our teachers by one more!

Welcome Kevin Lively, my husband, former Imagineer, writer, maker, & laser creative! He will be now teaching three new classes & labs at our space! We are thrilled for the next chapter, growing this family business that is centered around helping others find their creative glow!

Smile of the Month

This month's smile spotlight goes to three amazing students who really shined with their ice cream illustration projects! Each student followed along with the basic steps to make their own banana split, and then using their imagination created their own themed pieces.

Little Creative Encouragement

Not everything you make will be amazing.

Create anyway.

Ideas may not come easy.

Create anyway.

Colors might be hard to pick.

Create anyway.

Life may be too much.

Create anyway.

Making art is a way to get our internal energy, thoughts, and emotions out by focusing on what we can make with our hands. It allows us time to make simple decisions, learning to go with the flow, and allowing our imagination to think outside the box. It gives us a space to not be perfect, but find perfection in exploring and playing, and eventually finding new ways to arrive and make something new that we normally wouldn't have thought of before.

So therefore...

Create always!

See you in the studio!
