In My Wildest Dreams (shop feature & upcoming events!)

I’ve been making art since I was barely able to walk... and now I get to walk that art into local shops and send it out to people all over the country! Just recently, I dropped off new creations to In Your Wildest Dreams in Bakersfield, CA. Talk about dreams coming true, but let me tell you a little more about this amazing place. In 2024, Tina & Gabe Ulloa became the new owners. I have known Tina for nearly a decade, back when she was a massuse and dipping her toes into the thrifting world. They have since taken on a new adventure and have been expanding their space into a local hub of treasures and finds. Including a fantastic makers space up in the front of the store for local artisans (though you can definitely find a whole lot more throughout the store!) Earlier this year I partnered up with The Blue Zones Project Bakersfield to host a free Painting Moai geared for moms who needed a moment away to do something different. It was so lovely! We’re all given unique gifts, and mine is to create and to teach others how to create—whether you’re brand new to art or a seasoned creative wanting to try something fresh. But for Tina and her husband, it is to showcase and help local creatives, upcyclers, vintage, and thrift sellers to have their own space without having to be at a shop 24/7. It really is a beautifully curated hub of wonderful finds! Go visit soon! There is always something new to see!
