Blooming with Grace (Happy New Year)

Blooming with Grace (Happy New Year)

Hello there!

It's a brand new year getting ready to bloom here at Sey Studios! This will be my 22nd year as an artist crafting joyful art & experiences! And as 22 is my lucky number... this is a big year! I am excited to invite all of you to find the fun and light within yourselves through creativity, as well as some amazing opportunities making bigger art! And I mean big! More on that later. I am so grateful for each and everyone of you who has helped support me and my path, and now as I help support you into your art journeys too!

2025 Happy Thoughts

  • You are worthy of trying new things... and so am I! And tried I did. Not everything will work, but you will know and be happy that you tried. I am so grateful for every try and you will celebrate all the wins along the way!
  • Letting go of the old and embracing the next chapter. It's not a goodbye to who we are, but a blooming of the next part of what we are becoming. I turned 40 last year, and my body had me changing a bit faster than I realized, but oh the beauty that is in being the person I am now and embracing all the parts of me.
  • Fully leaning into my talents as a mentor, teacher, and guide has been quite a leap... but so fulfilling! Being able to grow more offerings and classes in my community is creating more beauty where we are planted!
  • More quality time with family & friends! This has always been something I cherish and I am so grateful I got to do that! Life is now, not later!
  • From going on Craftcation, to getting dolled up for Dapper Day Expo, to setting up our own tropical shop at Tiki Oasis, I hit some major bucketlist moments for sure!
  • Offering private lessons & workshops for all abilities has really touched my heart on how art can heal and offer roads of beauty forward!

Smile Spotlight

This month's smile spotlight goes to one of my students! Our last project of the year was an upcycled gingerbread house out of cardboard and found elements. She wasn't able to finish it in time during class because she had such a big heart to help the others around her. Over the break she finished her piece and her mom sent me this! Three cheers for Tessa for being not only creative, but showing others the real meaning of being human... kindness!
