Original - "Our Lady of Guadalupe (Our Lady in Rose)" Painting

“Our Lady in Pink" by Sey came to her in a vision in the middle of the night in 2014 of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The pause of its completion had to do with the colors struggle of not using the blue/teal veil she is so known for, which she wanted to use. Every time she went to paint it, something stopped her. Eventually, Sey let go and embraced the idea of the Blessed Mother in roses and golds that kept coming to her.

It was completed in 2016 and gifted to an attendee at the St. Francis Madonna Prayer Breakfast. Inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother Mary has been a significant part of Sey's work. Her Blessed Mother series grows every year, coming to her during prayer, dreams, and visions.

A few years ago the painting was regifted back to the artist as the owner wanted to give it a new home to share the love it brought her. It is up for adoption again.

"Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mystical Rose, help all those who invoke you in their necessities! Since you are the ever Virgin Mary and Mother of the true God, obtain for us from your most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, burning charity, and the precious gift of final perseverance.
